Join us for our virtual Live Science: Emotional Intelligence for Kids event. spectrUM Discovery Area and the University of Montana Living Lab psychologist Shailee Woodard are partnering on an exciting virtual event for all ages! Children and adolescents will learn about emotions and emotional intelligence through a series of fun activities. 4-4:30 will include interactive games designed to help children practice naming and identifying their emotions (recommended for PreK-4). From 4:30-5 children and parents can learn about emotional intelligence: what it is, why it's important, and how it develops.

The spectrUM Discovery Area has moved into the new Missoula Public Library and will be free for visitors of all ages to explore science through engaging exhibits and activities.
