SUMMARY:Join us for \"Botanicals in Watercolor\" workshop with Oren Jaffe.

Oren Jaffe earned his BFA in painting as well as a degree in Natural History at the University of Montana. Oren applies a sensitive and relaxing approach to painting in watercolors making this sometimes difficult medium a joyful and rewarding experience.

Oren’s loose approach to painting is beginner-friendly and in this workshop we will cover choosing a subject, general plant anatomy, color-mixing, and brushstrokes to make a painted plant come to life. Most importantly, you will learn how to enjoy watercolor and become a more confident maker. 

These classes are designed to build upon one another and many of our students choose to make Wednesday evenings in our cozy secret garden a weekly painting practice session.

All supplies are provided by Leaf and Quiet. 

No prior skills are required - just a positive attitude and a desire to make art with plants! 

So come on in and play in watercolor with us!

Every Wednesday in February and March, 6-8pm
