Mixed Media Fun
12:30 PM (America/Denver)
Lifelong Learning Center
Description:
When different media or materials are used to create unique visual art, it is called mixed media art. The use of mixed media began around 1912 when Cubists, like Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, started adding collages to their canvases. Gradually the art form became widespread as artists developed increasingly open attitudes to the media of art. Sometimes we forget about the creative aspect of learning what you can combine to get the look you want and what doesn’t mix. This is a fun 3 session class that asks you to bring your “creative stuff” and learn some new possibilities. Bring your art supplies and perhaps a painting or something you’d like to rework to the first class. Class Fee $68 - Class Number: A-PA33 Instructor: Almer, Bobbe - Meets on: Fr for 3 sessions
