Contact Improv is a movement/dance form that combines touch, consent, weight sharing, improvisation, and play. Think of a martial arts practice such as Jujitsu or Aikido and replace the fighting/defensive aspect with creativity and play and that's kind of what contact improv is like. Another way it's been described is like going surfing and getting a massage at the same time.

Beginners are welcome. Experienced dancers are too!

This class is happening for four consecutive Wednesdays: Oct 29-Nov 19th from 6-7pm immediately preceding Ground Swell dance, which ccurs from 7-8:45pm.

$10 drop-in, $35 for all four classes. Cash preferred.
