How to install Linux Mint over Windows 10
9:45 AM (America/Denver)
Missoula Public Library
How to install Linux Mint over Windows 10 Description:
Now is time to start thinking about replacing your Windows 10 operating system on your computer; since “Microsoft will be ending support and updates for Windows 10 in mid-October 2025”. (Microsoft is offering support for one more year, but it will cost you money and maybe your privacy.)

This training opportunity for anyone that would like to install Linux on their computers. This training is free and open to the public.

We’re starting up a new set of classes, focusing on Linux as a replacement for Windows 10. (The Makerspace is now using Linux on their student laptop computers.) If you, or someone in your establishment would like to learn how to install Linux on your personal computers, please check out these training opportunities.

Our goal is to try to reduce e-waist, by keeping computers out of our land fill and saving you a lot of money, since you won't need to purchase a new computer.

For more information on all the Linux training opportunities; search for the word, Linux, on the Missoula Public Library's website.
