The community of Potomac is hosting its inaugural Fund Run! Proceeds from registration for this 5K/13K will benefit the Potomac Greenough Community Center. Located in the heart of the bucolic Potomac Valley (a trail runner’s paradise), the Center serves our community of 3,000 , and we’re in the second phase of repairing its HVAC systems. Your participation will help revamp the Center’s classrooms (which serve our community’s children throughout the school year), and you’ll also get to partake in the genesis of what we aim to build upon as an annual autumn event. Bring the whole family for the 5K, or challenge yourself to our stunning 13k trail-running route, which winds through coniferous forests in the shadow of the Garnet Mountains. Just be sure to stick around afterward to celebrate with Potomac’s own specialty food and musical entertainment stylings!
