Theatrical Audition for Covid Tragic Comedy

Description:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE! JOYRISE MOVEMENT LLC IS STAGING A THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE IN SUPPORT OF FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER, THE FINANCIAL AID ARM OF THE MISSOULA ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION!
The purpose of this performance is to raise funds for Missoula County Animal Shelter on Butler Creek Road. Kari Ann is deeply grateful for their assistance with her 123 pound service dog.
Missoula, Montana playwright Kari Ann has written a tragicomic play about Covid 19 set in a NYC hospital. Lifesavers abound amidst a global tragedy. Come meet Claudette, the Park Avenue masked poodle!

Auditions are September 25 at the Missoula Public Library, 455 East Main, 3rd floor, Missoula. PLEASE NOTE: A NY regional accent is required for each character. The author will pay all performers $25 each for participating.

Characters:
One male (psychiatrist), in his 30s.
One female, 60s. Voice Overs: One man, 60s.
A hospital pager ("paging Dr. _____"), can be any age or gender. Comic improvisational skills requested. ---
All characters have pronounced New York regional accents.
