Ground Swell is a recurring event for people interested in dance as a(n):

Non-performative practice of connecting with self

Way to metabolize pain, concern, and worry

Space to express oneself timidly, boldly, sensually, playfully…basically to self-express

Co-regulating with others non-verbally


We limit some behaviors in effort to create a unique dance experience:

We are soberly wild (no drunk folks/beer spills, yay!)

We refrain from chatting on the dance floor

We leave our phones off of the dance floor

The music comes from all over the world, has big feels, and is thoughtfully curated to take you through a cathartic experience.

This dance is facilitated by JoJo Phoenix "JP" and other community members.
