Description:
Calling all history enthusiasts! Join guest speakers for lively and entertaining presentations of historical interest. As the US commemorates the 250th anniversary of its founding, Montanans can reflect on what our state looked like in 1776 and how the people of our state have contributed to our nation. This month, Maria Greer will explore how one of the world’s most prestigious institutions of higher learning was founded on a ghost story. Her talk will also examine how the very different stories of three members of the same family were forgotten, reshaped, or erased over time.
