Acrylic paint pouring is a fun and simple technique where you pour thinned acrylic paints onto a surface to create vibrant, abstract designs. This affordable and easy-to-learn art form doesn’t require any prior painting experience, and you’ll end up with beautiful, striking pieces. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn about the basic materials and preparation needed for pouring on canvases. You’ll also have the chance to practice at least two of these pouring techniques: straight (or “dirty”) pours, tree ring pours, funnel pours, and flip cup pours. You’ll create art on two canvases, which will be available for pickup 72 hours after the class. All supplies are included, and all levels are welcome. Bring a sack lunch.
