Think of a time you've been in the crowd at a concert dancing, when you've been SO immersed in the moment that you let go of external perception, becoming completely present in your own experience...in flow...totally embodied...overtaken by pure BLISS.

Ecstatic Dance is movement as medicine; it is the GATEWAY to that pure bliss space.
A space where your body flows freely, responding to the sound and energy of the people all around you.
Through activating the sensory and motor circuits of your brain, as well as pleasure centers, and releasing endorphin hormones, Ecstatic Dance brings us fully into the present--in flow, and connects you with your heart and your joy.

We come together in community as co-creators to build a space for freedom of expression without judgement.
We honor the following guidelines to keep the dance floor a safe and sacred space:
BE Present - No Phones, No Cameras On The Dance Floor.
BE Embodied - No Talking On The Dance Floor.
BE Consensual - Listen For A Yes, Respect A No.
BE Clear -No Intoxicants On The Dance Floor.
BE Free - Dance How You Want To. No Judgement.
BE Here - No Shoes On The Dance Floor.

We'll start out opening the space together before the dancing begins.
The evening will open with the opportunity to set intentions, and move through an exercise to help you drop out of your head, into your body and transition into movement. We highly recommend arriving for this opening ceremony especially if you're new to Ecstatic Dance!

Valerie connects with dance as a meditative practice and medicine regularly in her own life to ground, move energy and feel through their emotions. They're thrilled to share the powerful ally of Ecstatic Dance with our community!
