Community Forestry Day is a free, family-friendly community event focused on forestry and our natural resources organized by the Society of American Foresters and UM forestry students. Come down and see the student constructed 19th century logging camp, meet Smokey Bear, check out real logging equipment (and drive it in our simulator), and participate in arts, crafts, and activities put together by local natural resource organizations and companies. It is fun for the whole family, and a great opportunity to learn all about the landscape we live in.
