Rattlesnake Stories: What is a stream without beavers?
1:30 PM (America/Denver)
Missoula Public Library
Description:
Beavers are rivaled only by humans in their ability to transform their environment to suit their needs. In doing so, they create and maintain some of the most biologically rich habitats in the West while helping mitigate negative impacts to humans from flooding, wildfire, and drought. Torrey will highlight the impacts beavers have on water and wildlife, with a specific look at how some of these impacts manifest in Rattlesnake Creek.
