In this partnered somatic practice, we explore yielding into a released state of tone by examining effort and its varying degrees. Through guided touch, attentive listening, and passive movement, we develop a deeper sensory awareness of joint mobility and whole-body connectivity. Resting in a receptive state, participants are supported in discovering how the body organizes itself when effort is softened and support is shared.

With the ease and tenderness of a partner, this educational exchange invites the joints, tissues, and nervous system to respond without force. The practice emphasizes embodied learning—cultivating proprioception, mobility, and trust through direct experience. Trust is foundational, developed through clear communication, consent, and mutual care, creating a safe environment for exploration, release, and shared knowledge of the human body.
