Get ready for Western Cider's Wassail celebration by creating an Old World clay cup using ancient methods like pinch building. All finished cups will be delivered to Western Cider before for the celebration on January 31, so they will be there to use for your first cup of hot wassail free!

These workshops are a fantastic, guided building experience, so you can learn to create a piece of functional pottery by hand and have a ton of fun! The purpose of this workshop is to create a cup ready to go a-wassailing with, using age-old techniques for creating and decorating pottery that existed alongside traditional orchard-visit wassailing! Vessels created will be fired and coated with clear glaze after the workshop, so you can actually use them at Western Cider’s Wassail celebration on January 31 to enjoy a delightful mulled cider creation, and celebrate to promote a good harvest from the apple trees this coming year!
